Dear friends,
the
Palestinian Centre for Human Rights (PCHR) in Gaza is one of
Palestine's most respected human rights organisations. For years, it
has provided reports on the sitaution in Gaza and the rest of the
Occupied Palestinian Territories. It has continued to provide detailed
reports over the last 10 days of Israel's war crimes in Gaza. Tonight
it has issued a statistical breakdown on the victims of Israel's aggression over the last 10 days.
Of
course, the more than 250 Palestinians children, women and men killed
by Israel are not just statistics. They are someone's son, daughter,
wife, husband, mother, father, brother, sister, cousin, grandparent,
grandchild and friend.
Like every single one of us, they had dreams, hopes, expressed joy, sadness and wanted a life filled with dignity. I have already posted the full list (and am updating) of the names of the dead, which has been published by Al Jazeera. It can be found here.
