Dear friends,
its taken me almost a week to post this, as like many others, I have been shocked by the murder of Juliano Mer Khamis in Jenin refugee camp. Juliano, the son of a Jewish mother and a Palestinian father, believed that culture and art would help bring liberation to the Palestinian people. For the last 5 years, he ran the Freedom Theatre in Jenin in the hope of contributing to the liberation of his people. His death is a great loss to not only his family and the Palestinian people but all of us who believe in the struggle for a better world. Vale Juliano. Rest in Peace. You will be sorely missed.
