This documentary, along with the Iron Wall which was released last year are both excellent introductions and explanations of what is happening in Palestine and Israel, and why.

An award-winning documentary film on the root causes of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The film depicts life in occupied Palestine under Israeli military occupation.

Synopsis: A thought-provoking and powerful documentary film on the current and historical root causes of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Unlike any other film ever produced on the conflict -- 'Occupation 101' presents a comprehensive analysis of the facts and hidden truths surrounding the never ending controversy and
dispels many of its long-perceived myths and misconceptions.

The film also details life under Israeli military rule, the role of the United States in the conflict, and the major obstacles that stand in the way of a lasting and viable peace. The roots of the conflict are explained through first-hand on-the-ground experiences from leading Middle East scholars, peace activists, journalists, religious leaders and humanitarian workers whose voices have too often been
suppressed in American media outlets.

The film covers a wide range of topics -- which include -- the first wave of Jewish immigration from Europe in the 1880's, the 1920 tensions, the 1948 war, the 1967 war, the first Intifada of 1987, the Oslo Peace Process, Settlement expansion, the role of the United States Government, the second Intifada of 2000, the separation
barrier and the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza, as well as many heart wrenching testimonials from victims of this tragedy.

This movie shows the real truth which cannot be ignored. Therefore, it is the responsibility of all relevant countries/citizens to stop aiding/supporting Israel, with use of sanctions if necessary, until it ends its occupation of the Arab territories. We must defend the Palestinian causes, denounce the brutal Israeli/Zionist crimes and criticise the disastrous Israeli policy of expansion and oppression in Palestine. We don’t have to be diplomats or politicians to appreciate that any agreement must be enforcable and at least include the return to the pre-1967 borders, with Israel withdrawing from ALL Palestinian occupied territories (including the West Bank and East Jerusalem), allowing Palestine to control its own borders and recognising Palestinian rights, including the rights to life, freedom, movement and the return to homelands. Although we know that America will not be a peacemaker in the Israeli/Palestine conflict, we must continue to demand to know when the United States is going to “stand up to Israel”, cease providing Israel with financial and military support, and at least be “even-handed in its approach to Israel and Palestine”.

There's no such place as "Palestine"; only Israel.

Within Israel, there is the part that is ruled by its true owners, the nation of Israel, and there's the part that's temporarily ruled by usurpers.

The nation of Israel will liberate its land.

And in case you forgot, the so-called "Palestinians" gave up ALL sovereign claims here in 1964, as you certainly know:

"THE PALESTINIAN NATIONAL CHARTER"(Al-Mithaq Al-Kawmee Al-Philisteeni), Adopted in 1964 by the 1st Palestinian Conference

Article 24: This Organization does not exercise any territorial sovereignty over the West Bank in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, on the Gaza Strip or in the Himmah Area.

Wow, thanks Yishai. What can I say... I'm convinced! (Not!) Must be your amazing ability to deliberately quote HALF a sentence out of context. Impressive!

It isn't half a sentence and it isn't out of context. The Philistines gave up all sovereign claims here.

You must not have learned English in your madrassah.
